SNAC (School Nutrition AgriCulture) Garden Foundation is a not-for-profit organization based in Sussex County, Delaware that provides an outdoor garden classroom, dedicated instructor, and curriculum-based programming in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), ecology, and health education at elementary schools in Delaware. Our program exists equitably across all schools, regardless of the resources schools can contribute. Our mission is to transform schoolyards into vibrant outdoor classrooms and thriving ecosystems where students of all backgrounds, ethnicities, abilities, and socioeconomic situations have equitable access to quality environmental STEM learning and health education.
