SNA Civil & Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd is a Level 1 B-BBEE Accredited, Civil and Structural Consulting Engineering Services Company. Since its inception in 1955 in Pretoria, SNA Civil & Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd has been involved in all aspects of Civil Engineering and in particular has specialized in Roads Engineering as well as other Infrastructure related work. SNA currently have offices in Pretoria (Head Office), Pietermaritzburg and Richard’s Bay (KwaZulu-Natal), Cape Town (Western Cape), Bloemfontein (Free State), Polokwane (Limpopo), Lusaka (Zambia), Gabarone (Botswana), Namibia (Swakopmund), Swaziland (Manzini) and Guinea (Conakry) SNA also operates in the following countries outside of South Africa: Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda, Mali, Guinea-Bissau, DRC and Tanzania. SNA has a number of service orientated subsidiaries which assist the company in the performance of its functions, the major one being SNALAB which is principally a service arm of the company but also operates commercially as a laboratory providing services in the field of Civil Engineering and Soils and Material Testing. SNALAB operates from Pretoria as well as from Richards bay. Some of the flagship projects that SNA has been involved with include the following: • Gautrain Rapid Rail Link – Design Packages DD5A & B Train & Bus Depots including bridges (Project value = R3 billion) • N1-20 & N12-18 – Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project: Roads and Bridges (Project value = R 1.2 billion) • Programme Management for the construction phase of all ten the 2010 FIFA World Cup Stadia in South Africa. • Lead consulting engineers for the N4 Maputo Development Corridor. • N2 - EB Cloete Interchange (Project value = R5 billion) • N2 - Paradise Valley (Project value = R3.7 billion) • N2 - Edwin Swales Interchange (Project value = R2.9 billion) • N4 - Karino Interchange (Project value = R450 million)
