The school was founded in 1969 by the late industrialist-philanthropist Shri. Gopalkrishna Singhania in memory of his wife late Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania. With a humble beginning with 400 students today the school houses more than 6700 students from KG to Std. 12 and IB DP and 400 plus staff members.
