Overview

Shanghai Leadership Toastmasters Club had its first demo meeting in early 2006 and proved so successful that within a few weeks it had already officially chartered within Toastmasters International. The inspiration and driving force behind this prestigious club was Rebecca Hong our Founding President, our first DTM – Distinguished Toastmaster and later District Governor for District 89 Mainland of China. Since that time there have been over 24 Presidents, between 150 -175 members and around 9,000 -10,000 guests that have attended over 600 meetings since its early days. Focusing primarily on all aspects of personal development and Leadership skills, it has been a beacon of light and knowledge to a wide variety of professionals, and is still regarded as one of the foremost clubs in Shanghai, a place where people come to learn, be inspired, to network and have fun. Over the last few years, Shanghai Leadership Toastmasters club has become increasingly more and more International, and we can now boast a large number of members from all around the world, including America, Germany, England, France, Pakistan, Italy, Kazakhstan, and many other countries.
