Sur La Table Online Culinary Institute was founded in 2020 as a premier and affordable online culinary education provider, serving first-time cooks to accomplished home chefs and aficionados. With a focus on improving affordability and workforce readiness, we are supporting the growing majority of nontraditional students and ensuring that our students obtain the skills they need to succeed in the kitchen and thrive in the modern culinary world. Sur La Table Online Culinary Institute supports personal and professional development in culinary practices through an online, interactive, competency-based learning experience. Courses are self-paced, allowing students to work around their busy schedules and advance at their own pace, moving faster through courses where they can apply their relevant work experience. Students receive feedback on their progress from our expert chefs trained in the discipline of study. As a fully online program, students learn from wherever they are, often in the comfort of their own kitchen. Sur La Table Online Culinary Institute is a wholly owned subsidiary of Strategic Education, Inc (SEI), a national leader in online education. SEI is the parent company of Capella University and Strayer University, both regionally accredited online universities.
