SL Power Services is an emerging electrical engineering start-up providing a wide range of design, modelling, inspection, and testing services in the construction and asset maintenance industries, working at voltages from 12 V (DC) to 132 kV (AC). We provide quality and reliable engineering services, tailored to individual client needs, across all sectors, including resources, renewables, defence, water, infrastructure and rail. Our staff are highly experienced, client-focused and driven to achieve results. We are one of only three engineering consultancies that have gained approval from Queensland Urban Utilities to carry out power system analysis for their network. Scott Laxton is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) – Electrical and is the sole director of SL Power Services Pty Ltd. In his previous role at a Tier One consultancy, he had struggled to find sub-consultants that could be relied on to provide high quality engineering deliverables. Our company was founded in 2016 to fill this gap in the market.
