This happens due to the combined surge in both online courses and demand for a more inclusive educational sectors for adults. Skillsmatch has multiple objectives, and among them the basic assumption is to bring the offer and the demand of e-learning courses closer. At the same time, it aims to increase the overall quality of the educational offer (certificates, qualifications etc.) with a specific focus on digital skills. Additionally, the project will develop a matching tool for adult learners in order to be able to find the most appropriate course for them. Looking at educators instead, they will be provided with an e-learning course guide for professional development of soft skills. As it can be seen, the project will not only help potential adult educators to pick the most suitable course for their needs, but it will also target the designers of e-learning courses in order for them to provide more comprehensive, accessible and up-to-date online education courses. Skillsmatch promotes tools aiming to secure quality education through the upskilling process of those who actually provide that education. The great innovation of this project is the matching tool between digital competences gaps of adult educators and e-learning offer. By enhancing the digital competences of education providers, they will be more empowered to best adapt their courses to the needs of new adult learners.
