SK Restaurants (officially SK Entertainment Group Ltd) was established in 1996. In 10 years the company has grown into the largest privately-owned company within the Finnish restaurant service sector. Today the SK conglomerate consists of 55 restaurants in 24 different cities, operating mainly in the bar and nightclub sector. The company turnover in 2007 was approximately 70 million euros, employing around 900 people. SK Restaurants continues its growth in 2008 by expanding its business operations into new cities in and around Finland. The restaurants have, in total, around 85.000 customer visits / week and approximately 300.000 registered members.
