Overview

The Singapore Medical Society of Australia and New Zealand (SMSANZ) is a non-profit, student-run organisation that represents Singaporean medical students studying in Australia and New Zealand. Today, SMSANZ represents more than 1000 Singaporean medical students across 13 universities. As the principal representative body, SMSANZ advocates for, and serves as the primary point of contact between its members and the Singapore healthcare organisations, including the Singapore Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH), National University Health System (NUHS), National Healthcare Group (NHG) and Singapore Health Services (SingHealth). SMSANZ also provides a close network of support, catering to the interest of its members through academic, community outreach and social networking events.
