Overview

Bard College at Simon's Rock is the nation's preeminent residential, liberal-arts early college. It enrolls approximately 450 students, nearly all of whom come to Simon's Rock after their sophomore or junior year in high school. It was founded as Simon's Rock College in 1966 by Elizabeth Blodgett Hall and, after becoming part of the Bard College system in 1979, it was known for most of its history as Simon's Rock College of Bard.
