From a city lover to another After her husband relocated from London to Dubai for work, award-winning fashion designer Mariana Jungmann went on a quest to find the perfect wall art to represent both cities. Unable to find any artwork she loved, Mariana designed Siluet's first two city silhouettes: London and Dubai. Friends and family were crazy about the fact that the original cityscapes were so detailed, yet minimal – and started asking for their favourite places. And that’s how Siluet – City Silhouette was born Each original city landscape has been lovingly researched, designed and manufactured by the Siluet team in our London studio. First we select our favourite eye-catching landmarks. Then we draw each intricate design one-by-one, before laser cutting the high-quality acrylic in-house.
