Overview

SHYNE is a social enterprise based in Ottawa, Ontario as a subsidiary of Enactus uOttawa. Our company began in 2018 when two students started to realize just how much plastic was being wasted every single day. They knew something had to be done; they wanted to make a change. That change came in the form of glasses made from recycled textile waste. Over the next two years, their lives became consumed with researching and planning, so that these dreams could become a reality. Today SHYNE continues to be a company that believes in sustainable fashion and making a difference, all while looking our best. So join us and together we’ll create a brighter future.
