Overview

Where we started SETUP group was established in Moscow in 2007. At this time, the main focus of the company was software development for the private sector. During this stage, SETUP developed several desktop and intranet solutions, including the automation of accounting systems for gas stations, and automobile service centres. 2008 The focus of SETUP began to evolve. The key aim became the development of software as a service solutions (SaaS). The first project to go live was an educational portal called Znai Vse. Over 600 schools became involved in the project within 3 months. A year later, the system was also being used in over 1000 schools in Ryazan state, Moscow. SETUP opened a second branch in Nizhny Lomov. This branch provided technical support for the Znai Vse portal, and also operated as a retail store selling computer hardware. 2009 SETUP participated in the Softool exhibition and e-government conference in Moscow. This was a turning point for the company. A new direction was adopted and the company began providing software solutions for various state governments, focusing primarily on providing online education solutions. 2010 - 2012 In 2011, SETUP won a UNESCO backed tender for resulting in the implementation of Arctic Teachers. Another branch was established in Yakutsk to fulfill this contract. In 2011, SETUP successfully applied for cryptographic licensing. This led to contracts in the private data sectors and with higher levels of data security. 2013 - now The first branch outside of the Russian Federation (SETUP International Pty Ltd) was established in 2013 in Sydney, for the purpose of local software development and providing services for Australian customers.
