Overview

Seed was founded in early 2015 around the mission of connecting people and cultures using technology. The founders behind Seed are a team of international, and passionate entrepreneurs with extensive experience in online product development and digital language learning. Two apps have been successfully built and released to the market, and been featured by Apple in the Best New App category across 23 countries in Europe. Seed is backed by one of China's most prominent VCs, and is on an aggressive growth trajectory. Amanda, the first app that lets Chinese learners around the world to learn Chinese through trending social media stories in China, was released on the Apple App Store in April 2015. Seed, the mobile app that enables Chinese users to organically acquire knowledge and improve their English skills through exploring and consuming trending English content, was launched to Apple App Store and Android stores in China in August 2015. The Seed team is based in the bustling Shanghai, China. We work out of a bright loft office where we host random BBQ parties on our roof top. We are constantly looking for fun, and talented people to join us to work with growth, engagement, engineering, academics, and content.
