The organization Sedmica, which in Serbian means the number seven, as well as the translation of the word week. The primary ideas and goals were to educate the youth in the area of the new media, as well as the popularization of the young talents from this region, and the world, who deserve to have their work seen and recognized. Sedmica exists for a little less then a year and a half, and during this time, more than 130,000 people have studied through our web site, we gained hundreds of positive comments, and thats how Sedmica.rs gained new members. Why Sedmica (week)? There are 7 days in a week – seven areas on the web site, every day is dedicated to one area. Every Monday a tutorial comes out for photoshop, on Tuesdays a tutorial for web designe comes, on Wednesdays for 3D modeling, on Thursdays you get a tutorial for programing games, and on Fridays we write instructions for music production. On Saturdays we present the work of young designers, developers, artists and so on, from this region and all over the world. On Sundays we publish an interview which we did in the past week, with a famous, or a less famous, creative, or we share free stuff on the internet, like fonts, wallpapers, icons and so on. By giving every day of the week a different area, we prevented our visitors from becoming disappointed when they enter the site, and that there is not any new contents in the last month. With this concept we gained thrust and permanent visitors who have, in time, begun to write their own tutorials, who, today, exceed the number 450, and counting! The biggest media of the region has writted about our project, because of our age (permanent authors have up to 20 years), and because of the quality and the interest the project creates, and those are only some of the many awards that we are proud of.
