Overview

Tanya Cooke (Founder & CEO) started Seattle Event Works following the birth of her daughter in July 2016. She brings with her more than 12 years industry experience with events, fundraising, and development. Tanya began her career as an Events and Marketing Coordinator for a Seattle based startup, which provided her with experience with for-profit sector events, including product launches and trade shows. Eventually transitioning to non-profit work on behalf of the American Cancer Society's Hope Gala & Auction, Tanya was able to broaden her skill-set, not just in the area of event execution, but fundraising as well. As a result, she soon had the honor of working on numerous large-scale events for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, including the 6,000 participant Big Climb up Seattle's tallest building, the Columbia Center, and the 1,500 participant Scott Firefighter Stairclimb. In 2014, Tanya's passion took her to the International Rescue Committee, where she was able to once again focus on more intimate events and fundraisers, many of which she worked to build from the ground up. When you choose Seattle Event Works to manage your event, our team will work tirelessly to manage your budget, drive deadlines, coordinate vendors, and take your event from concept to execution. Please allow us to be your valued partner when setting up your next event!
