Delivery Skipper – Skippering service for all types of private & commercial vessel deliveries, undertaken anywhere within the UK’s network of Inland waterways, rivers & canals & near coastal areas. Credibility: National BML holder with over 30 years experience on the inland waterways. No size or tonnage restrictions imposed on licence. River Thames Passage Planning Service – Tailor made Passage Plans for privately owned vessels intending to navigate the Upper reaches of the River Thames. Houseboats, Cruisers, Private Yachts, Narrowboat/Wide beams etc. Incorporating bridge transit windows, safe air draught & under keel clearances throughout the passage, abort points along with eta’s along various stages of the plan. Executed in accordance with Thames Bye-laws & General Directions. Credibility: Former Thames Barge/Tug Captain. Acquired Thames Pilotage Exemption accreditation & holder of Thames Local Knowledge Endorsement. Additionally, accredited with Thames Tideway Masters Certification at the HR Wallingford Ship Simulation Centre. Planned & executed passages daily as part of my job! Mooring Rope Health Check – Consists of a thorough inspection of the vessel or full company fleet’s rope conditions. Also visits to private Wharfs/Quays whereby shore to ships ropes are utilised. Rope repairs or alterations to existing applications carried out. Professional splicing service of 8 , 12 & 16 strand multiplait rope. On-site/vessel visits undertaken. New coils chopped & spliced into pre-specified lengths for the deployment of multiple moorings. Emergency Tow Painters measured, spliced & rigged for deploy.
