Overview

The Scottish National War Memorial commemorates Scotland's war dead from the First World War up until the present day. Located in Edinburgh Castle it remembers all Scots who have died in conflict including civilians and animals. It houses many beautiful sculptures, stained glass windows and bronze friezes as well as the Rolls of Honour for all three Services. It is a charity and managed by a Board of Trustees. The Memorial is free to visit and is open to the public most days of the year.
