Overview

Science Smart Kids focuses on STEAM enrichment extended care at school sites. We provide a daily STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Mathematics) exploration activity each day of the week, as well as outdoor PE, homework help, snack, and free choice activities. The staff is experienced and caring. Science Smart Kids sprung organically from a playgroup in the backyard of Ildikó Stennis’s house in 2009. Ildikó is a credentialed Science and Math teacher who is fascinated by the fusion of art and science, and she works full time as a science teacher at Peterson Middle school. In 2013, she founded the summer camp called, Camp Captivate. Camp Captivate has evolved to become #1 on Yelp for summer camps in Santa Clara and is the premiere STEAM specialist in the south bay.
