OUR MISSION: -Maximize Leather Production objectives and ensure that efficiency, productivity, cost, and quality standards are met. -Manage all aspects of Leather Testing, ensuring appropriate testing methods. -Work directly with the design team to source Leathers with the correct quality. -Research market trends and collect new material. -Coordinate Tannery on quality and lead time issues during production. -Work directly with tanneries on knowledge of various tanning techniques, finishing techniques, leather selection. -Work with tanneries, overseas, and locally to plan capacity, selection, cost, cutting yields. -Support Leather Development communication between designers and tanneries. -Assist the Design team in showing the preferred leather to use in their product prototype, focusing on the longevity of the product to better understand the type of leather from a technical viewpoint.
