Saylo Classroom is a collaboration app that allows professors to transform their classroom into an active learning environment, making large classes seem smaller, and less intimidating. Our Mission: We strive to help professors and students create an engaging environment that promotes collaboration, inspires community building, and drives students towards success inside, and outside of the classroom. Saylo helps bridge the communication gap that exists in the classroom, and allows professors to deliver the best active learning experience possible. Heres how: Interactive Class Discussions, & Alerts: Interactive class discussions keep students informed, and create a platform for each student to feel valued and included. Connect students Inside and Outside of Class: Students can connect to each other via the chat feature, without having to share any personal information. Collaborate in Groups: Professors can divide the class into smaller sections, and students can collaborate with classmates to ask questions, discuss assignments, and complete group work. Dynamic Polls, & Assessments: Saylo helps professors gain realtime student feedback, identify what students know and still need to learn. Students also have the ability to poll one another. Seamlessly Take Attendance: Attendance is automated, and automatically recorded in the grade book, allowing professors to see who’s in class, and project student success rates. Anonymous Polling, & Messaging: Anonymous answering features create a safe space for communication, and allow all students to feel comfortable, regardless of whether or not the students are introverted or extroverted. LMS Integration/ Campus Customization: Saylo also connects directly to each campuses LMS, and can be customized to meet the departments needs.
