Duffau & Associes works to Make & Construct localised projects that operate within the traditional boundaries of architecture and design, it works on projects that attempt to test the open standard. Working on the possibility of a 15 minute city through the themes of reversible & scalable, modular building, local fabrication on site & construction, maintenance & duration of a place, densification & biodiversity. Duffau &Associes has created Ultra &Ordinary, a polymorphous and multidisciplinary research group on the open standard of global design that Experiments & Transmits. It works towards the possibility of experimenting with new ways of Doing & Making that are non-extractive of planetary resources, data, and labour.
