Olena Semenova is an international activist specializing in Ukraine, Russia, and Eastern Europe. Our activism work includes: * Keynote speeches, training, workshops, and advocacy * Producing human rights documentary films * Employing talented LGBT who are otherwise unable to use their skills due to discrimination and transphobia * Operating KyivPride Canada - an NGO that advocates for Ukrainian LGBTQI rights on the international stage. The Studio has recently produced two acclaimed documentary films: "PRIDE of UKRAINE"(2015) - a documentary of hope and inspiration that shares the story of KyivPride. The film premiered at the Embassy of Canada in Kyiv, Ukraine in March 2015 "TRANSGENDER LIFE IN SLOVENIA"(2016) - a film that explores the lived experiences of 10 transgender and gender queer people living across the country. It premiered in June of 2106 and won BEST FILM at the Ljubljana International LGBT Film Festival in December 2016
