WIC: Giving Children the Best Start to Life Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a program determined to improve the health and development of families with little ones before their 5th birthday. WIC serves nearly 60% of all infants born in California. Across San Diego County, our expert team of big hearts for small children provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and community referrals.
