About SACIDS Foundation for One Health Founded in January 2008, as a regional Southern African Centre for Disease Surveillance, transformed in 2018 into The SACIDS Foundation for One Health A virtual institute of Sokoine University of Agriculture on behalf of member institutions, which are academic and research institutions that deal with infectious diseases of humans and animals in southern, central and eastern Africa. An Africa led South-South-North “Smart partnership” that operates in theme based clusters as as Communities of Practice.
