Overview

The Rugby Union Players' Association (RUPA) was incorporated in October 1995 in direct response to the professionalism of Rugby and was established to promote and safeguard the interests of its members, namely the professional Rugby players of Australia. Our three key purposes are to protect, promote & prepare all of our members for life after Rugby. RUPA's members comprises current players from the Brumbies, Melbourne Rebels, Queensland Reds, NSW Waratahs and the Australian Men's and Women's Rugby Sevens squads, as well as former professional players from these teams and the Western Force, active Buildcorp National Rugby Championship (NRC) players and active Super W and Wallaroos players. Currently 100% of Australia’s full time professional players are members. This page is designed to share the best news about our members and Rugby within Australia to our members and the wider Rugby community, as well as to showcase our outstanding suite of commercial partners.
