Rowse was inspired by personal experience. We’d seen first hand the impact that industry-standard skincare products had on the lives of our loved ones (eczema, anyone?), and in our own beauty-routines, were fed up of using multiple different formulations that we knew nothing about, each coming with a hyperbolic claim and a long list of ingredients to match, many of which had toxic-origins. Determined instead to celebrate raw beauty, and to protect the planet we call our home, we knew we needed to do things a little differently. So, we co-founded Rowse, and launched a collection of sustainably-sourced, vegan and cruelty-free products, from an oil blend (our first), to raw ingredients that include powders, floral waters, essential oils and clays. Determined to simplify, while celebrating the origins of each of our products, we’ve worked closely with independent labs to combine these versatile ingredients into beauty recipes and formulations, from masks to scrubs and oils, each intended for a specific benefit, but safe for use all over the body. It turns out, a lot of people were fed up with the norm too - today, our European team collaborates with a community of #botanicalcreatives across the globe, each with their own skincare story, but all dedicated to realising the beauty of people and our planet.
