Rowett Architecture is formerly Robert Rowett Architectural Service. As of 01 September 2021, we welcomed two new partners Robert's daughter Bronnen and our resident architect, Samantha Hamilton. As part of this change, Robert Rowett Architectural Services has become Rowett Architecture. Robert set up Robert Rowett Architectural Service in 1991 and over the past 30 years, the team has tackled many interesting, unusual, and sometimes difficult projects. To encourage young talent, Robert has taken on the training of many aspiring architects and technologists and we are now excited to welcome the next generation into the fold. What does this mean for you? We will still deliver the same high-quality services you expect from us, but from today you will start to see our new name – Rowett Architecture – on our documents and throughout our correspondence to you. Our contact details remain the same. The practice works on a variety of projects: from private houses, extensions and barn conversions to larger housing schemes and a range of commercial work, including hotels, residential homes, and industrial buildings. More recently we have taken on exciting projects such as the restoration of a historic 13th-century fulling mill for conversion to a dwelling. We can provide our services during any or all stages of your project, from inception to construction, and will tailor them to suit your specific needs. We can advise on design options, prepare the necessary drawings and documents to obtain full planning approval, or if you already have planning permission, we can develop your approved drawings to add construction information to obtain Building Regulations approval. During construction work, we can undertake contract administration, site inspections and issue Architectural Certificates to satisfy mortgage companies.
