Rotary Club Budapest-Center operates in an association form. The club is a member of Rotary Hungary, District 1911, and therefore the Association of Hungarian Rotary Clubs, and is connected to the global Rotary International network. Major projects of the Rotary Club Budapest-Center in recent years: - Semmelweis Medical University, 2nd Pediatric Clinic – Painting of waiting rooms together with the volunteers of “Grab a brush for the children” service - Supporting the children’s home of Abony (refurbishing rooms, donating computers) - Rotary Gift of Life project – financial support of life saving heart surgery for a Hungarian 8 year-old boy from Timisoara (RO) - St Ladislaus Hospital, Déméter House: donation of industrial dryers, washing machines and computers to support children who have undergone stem cell transplantation, and their parents. - Providing 14 underprivileged families with household appliances via a family support organization - Supporting the Tunderhegy Clinic with various tools - Yearly Christmas Gift Boxes for underprivileged Csángó (Hungarian minority in Romania) children
