Overview

Welcome to Rotary International Zones 26 & 27. Rotary Zones 26 & 27 support 30 Districts throughout the Western U.S. and part of Canada, helping our clubs and members change lives through service. While Rotary was born in Chicago, it was defined on the West Coast of the U.S. Half of the first 10 Rotary clubs in the world were born in this region, and many innovations in Rotary started here. We have much to be proud of in these two zones, as all zones in Rotary honor the diverse accomplishments of their members. Membership remains the number one priority for Rotary, particularly in North America. The health, success and strength of our clubs define our ability to attract new members and keep existing ones. Consistent with our heritage and culture, we are now witnessing a resurgence of membership growth on the West Coast. Dedicated regional leaders have volunteered their time to support, educate and work with clubs and districts throughout our two zones. The team includes Rotary Coordinators, Rotary Public Image Coordinators, Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinators, Endowment/Major Gift Advisors, a Zone Educational Team and Institute chairs. This group’s primary objective is to help our districts and clubs become even stronger, more vibrant, and more successful expressions of Rotary’s “gift to the world.”
