Overview

Roke Technologies Ltd. helps E & P operators derisk exploration and high grade oil and gas development opportunities by diagnosing and monitoring formation data gaps, production inconsistencies, and surface casing vent flows through the Quad Neutron™, Sound Hound™, and Vent Nanny™ Technologies. Roke was founded in 1967 by a group of oilfield design engineers. Originally focused in the mining sector, the Roke engineers found unacceptable levels of measurement error while using conventional logging tools in both the Mining and the Petroleum industries. In 1972, Roke began a 10 year R&D process to develop a more accurate porosity measurement device. In 1982 the prototype Quad Neutron™ was launched to the oil and gas industry. The Quad Neutron™ is a through pipe measurement device providing Lithology, Formation Fluids, and Porosity properties. In horizontal wells the Quad is run through drill pipe at TD and on tubing when diagnosing production in both new drills and mature fields. The Quad can be deployed on conventional wireline in verticals. Today the Quad Neutron™ is commercially utilized in Oil and Gas plays around the world.
