I have further written a comparative law book on insolvency law in Europe. After working for years at the international law firm Clifford Chance, I gained much experience in the financial markets (including M&A, Banking, Capital Markets and Securitisations). In addition, I have also gained experience in project management (including sustainable energy projects). Subsequently, I worked at De Nederlandsche Bank as a legal specialist on the resolution of banks and insurance companies that are of national interest. Here I gained knowledge about Dutch and European prudential supervision of banks and insurers. In this role I also gained experience in leading a legal team of experts and managing relationships with (inter)national policy makers and with European authorities such as the European Commission, the AFM and the EIOPA.
