Richard James was founded on Savile Row in 1992 by designer Richard James and his business partner Sean Dixon with a simple, clear philosophy that remains to this day: to produce classic, refined clothing of unsurpassable quality and push the boundaries through colour, cut and design. The name Richard James is synonymous with contemporary Savile Row tailoring and modern British menswear but now, with two stores on Savile Row, a flagship New York store opening in September 2018, stockists throughout the world and a slick worldwide commerce operation, it has developed into a brand with a distinctly international outlook and appeal.
