If you are looking for someone to help you create a path to the career of your dreams, keep reading. I understand the day-to-day struggles and the sinking feeling of hitting those glass ceilings. I know what it feels like when your dream job is close enough for you to touch, only to be disenchanted by the realization that you don’t fit the description of the company’s “ideal candidate.” I can assist you with navigating this all too familiar issue without having to compromise who you are. I spent years crafting bomb-ass resumes to get people’s feet in the door for interviews as a side hustle. Since then, I decided to expand my contribution to the unemployed, underemployed, and those seeking to take on new challenges but do not quite know where to start. I have also made it my mission to reach back and champion career readiness for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity. By designing career workshops for local community-based programs, I have equipped young people to start their career journey on the right foot. I cover everything from resume writing, interview preparation, and salary negotiation to how to grow once employment is secured. That is not all. Things got a little rocky during the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic. With mass job loss, resignation on the rise, and people having time to think about what they really wanted in their careers, I began speaking to local small businesses about taking on new employees post-pandemic. I covered everything from reassessing operational needs, best practices on making the transition back into the office safely, ways to stay competitive with salary and benefits, best practices for posting open positions for finding top-tier candidates, and more. Having some human resources experience and being in those rooms where we decided whether or not to hire someone, I am qualified to provide you with the skills to hit the ground running in those interviews.
