Our bodies become sick when our minds and emotions (maybe from trauma or other events) cause recurrent chronic thoughts and beliefs that are not in alignment with what is true. Reiki itself is a very loving, soothing energy that relaxes the body and brings in Universal Life Force energy in a way that allows every cell of your body to breathe a so-called sigh of relief and begin to heal. Reiki can be done remotely and it is not neccesary to be in person. Energy has no boundaries. I myself was a complete doubter when it came to anything like reiki. But 15 years ago when I got very ill myself and no doctor could help me, I was forced to turn to alternate options. I luckily found hands-on healers who were the real deal and literally saved my life. I then embraced my own healing gifts and began to study with many great healers and learn many amazing practices.
