ReDO stands for ‘’Research and Development Organization’’ which is a Tanzanian based national organization registered on 12th August 2021 with registration number 00NGO/R/2072 as a Non - Governmental Organization under the Non - Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002. ReDO was formed to address the following development challenges: poor access to clean and safe water; hygiene and sanitation; little awareness on human rights and gender inequality; prevalence of HIV/AIDS, communicable and non-communicable diseases; upcoming climate change challenges to non-resilient communities with little understanding of climate issues; and environment and natural resources.
