ROOTS, LLC is a dynamic professional training company with over 14 years of experience working with youth and professionals. ROOTS, LLC specializes in developing curriculum in an educational capacity, for community based organizations, and creative professional training workshops. ROOTS (Realizing Others Outstanding Talents) was founded in 1999 in Rochester, New York. Initially, ROOTS, LLC worked along with the Rochester Housing Authority’s STOP Program (Students Trying to Overcome Peer Pressure). This was a program geared toward helping moderate and low income youth ages ten to eighteen who were struggling with maintaining positive behaviors. True to form, the experienced consultants at ROOTS, developed and administered intensive training obtaining positive outcomes of improved outlooks and behaviors. Since inception, ROOTS, LLC has partnered with the Rochester, Fairport, and Greece School Districts working in more than 45 elementary and high schools in Upstate New York. They have also partnered with area colleges such as Geneseo, University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology.
