Overview

Reaching the Unreached Tanzania (RUT) is a voluntary based non-governmental, non-profit making and non-partisan organization established in 2016 by a group of young public health and community development specialists and got full registration in 2018 with Legal Status/Registration number ooNGO/00009674 – under Tanzania Non-Governmental Organization Act 2002. At the time before registration, it served as a meeting/professionals’ group for experience sharing, supporting each other and supporting the needy. We were motivated by the circumstance on the over burden of diseases and so many other socioeconomic issues in Tanzania and the world as a whole and decided to register it for effective operation in the communities. RUT works to address women and girls health issues including Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, Gender Based Violence, Climate Change, Natural Resources Management and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Our main focus is to support women and girls to realize their better lives through community sensitization and programs implementation.
