Overview

With a combined 47 years of experience, Ramirez Artistic Services provides administrative management, educational programming, arranging, performing, and touring management. Owners: Reynaldo Ramirez has served in non-profit management and music education for over 25 years. He was instrumental in establishing El Sistema USA as a national association and served as a founding board member and treasurer. He is a noted leader within the El Sistema movement, where he has presented at universities and conferences throughout the country. In 2009 he co-founded an El Sistema-inspired program named Soundscapes, where he assumed the role of Program Director. In addition, Reynaldo has held the Director of Education and Community Engagement position for both the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He plays Horn with the Virginia Wind Symphony, Symphonicity, and freelances in the Hampton Roads Area. Cynthia Ramirez joined the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band in 2005 and transitioned to the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast in 2017. In addition to performing as a clarinetist, she has managed tour operations and marketing for various ensembles. As an active freelance musician, private teacher, and public school teacher, Cynthia understands the importance of well-thought-out goals and plans. Cynthia performs as a frequent substitute musician with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Richmond Symphony, and other regional orchestras and wind bands. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Stephen F. Austin University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Las Vegas.
