Overview
The UK has two Reserve Air Forces: the Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF), our Volunteer Reserve component, and the Royal Air Force Reserve (RAFR), which is our Regular Reserve component. Together they are known as the "RAF Reserves". A role in the Reserves offers you the best of both worlds. Not only will you get the chance to train and work alongside regular RAF personnel, at home and overseas, but you’ll also take the new skills you develop back to your day job. As an RAF Reservist, you’ll need to bring your passion, dedication and team spirit to everything you do. Our Reserves squadrons are all over the UK. Each squadron has a variety of roles, including roles that are unique to it.
