Ra Foundation is a Mumbai-based registered non-profit organization where like- hearted individuals come together and become agents of change. Ra works in joint collaboration with reputed NGOs such as Akanksha Foundation and Teach for India. Ra's Happy Kids Program aims at enabling children from especially vulnerable and underprivileged backgrounds to develop their social and academic potential. The Foundation achieves this by providing access to a safe, caring and motivating environment as well as to high-quality education through the residential school format. Further, the Foundation offers regular counseling support and health checks.Education is not just a recognized fundamental right: it is a powerful force to make a breakthrough from the cycle of poverty and to bring about change in society. We work with a few students at a time. We cannot change the world at one go, but it is our sincere belief that if we can help a few to change their world, it would make for an inspiring beginning.
