Overview

Queen's First Aid Campus Response Team (CRT) serves the Queen's University Campus and the local Kingston Area. Queen's First Aid is also known as St. John Ambulance Adult Patient Care Division 970. Queen's First Aid CRT is comprised of 45 student volunteers who provide confidential, professional, 24/7 first aid response to the Queen's community. In addition to being on-call during the regular academic year, we are also present at many events on and off campus. All members are trained to the level of Advanced Medical First Responder, including training in oxygen administration, spinal management and advanced first aid. Mission Statement: The volunteer members of Queen’s First Aid offer emergency care to their community without prejudice or bias. Care is provided in a competent and professional manner as directed by St. John Ambulance Council for Ontario. Members respond to all those in need through attendance at university events and as dispatched by the Emergency Report Centre while on-call.
