Overview

The Quality Community of Malaysia (QCM) is a not-for-profit platform set up to promote quality, create awareness and act as a platform to connect with like-minded people who are passionate about quality. It is to provide leadership on the awareness and adoption of the quality management principles and best practice through knowledge sharing and volunteering to foster a culture of quality and improvement in Malaysia. The sharing and networking among people from different industry would spur their development and later will create growth and enhance productivity in the organizations. Quality can provide a competitive advantage, and through quality organizations can be sustainable in their operations. This platform is open to people in quality including the practitioners, academics, researchers, consultants and trainers of quality. By providing the venue for sharing on best practice and problem solving, QCM will be able to encourage quality improvement activities at the workplace. The main objectives of QCM are as follows: 1. To lead in creating awareness on quality and the importance of quality within the community in Malaysia 2. To share knowledge on quality management (principles, system and tools) and practices among the community so that our product and service will be able to achieve competitive advantage locally and globally. 3. To volunteer in departing quality knowledge, sharing best practices and improvement methodologies/techniques with the community. 4. To encourage companies and people in various industries to participate in the activities specified above.
