Pullman Standard Bar Nashville

Overview

The Pullman Standard name and meaning draw from Cummins Station’s early role in connecting Nashville to the rest of the country. As a modern warehouse built in 1906 next to Union Station, Cummins Station’s purpose was to give Nashville producers access to the national commerce landscape – and the trains that made this interconnectedness possible were the famed Pullman Standard trains. The Pullman Standard cocktail bar will continue this tradition, blending the warmth of Nashville culture and products with the latest beverage techniques, flavors, and innovations from around the country. The result is an inviting lounge in an iconic Nashville building focused on top-shelf liquor and wine, inventive craft cocktails, and creative small plates. Pullman Standard will focus on delivering sophistication without pretension, filling a gap in the area for a neighborhood bar that attracts the downtown professional crowd as well as locals and tourists seeking a drink before or after dinner. Currently under construction, Pullman Standard will feature a centerpiece bar designed by Brandon Wise (Former VP of Sourcing & Strategic Partnerships for Sage Restaurant Concepts, former president of the Oregon Bartenders Guild); a focused kitchen and food menu designed by a James Beard Award-winner and Chef; and a high-end architectural environment designed by award-winning Xan Creative.
