Licensed by ZICTA as an infrastructure operator in the Lusaka Province, Premier Telecoms Zambia (PTZ) is moving rapidly to action its vision of fostering the growth of fibre to the homes in Zambia. The multi-national team at PTZ has years of experience in deploying fibre (both in Zambia and internationally). The Open access business model of PTZ enables one fibre infrastructure to be used by many service providers. PTZ has already built a network in the Woodlands and Chalala areas of Lusaka and is expanding further. With its own pole and fibre deployments in place, PTZ provided a quality broadband service throughout the pandemic, without interruption . With the newly introduced pole-sharing regime of ZICTA, PTZ shares poles with Zamtel and Fibrecom as well.
