The aim of 1.SJG is to prepare students to find employment in life. Graduates successfully continue their studies at universities. The acquired level of foreign languages (mainly English) allows them to study not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. Students have the possibility to study subjects according to their choice of university. From the sixth grade of their studies, students choose the specialization: humanities, science or ICT. All graduates have a fully acquired knowledge of English, from which they must pass the school-leaving exams. They also take an international exam in English at the C2, C1 or B2 level. All students also take the international Microsoft Office Specialist exam in English. According to their personal choice, students take international exams in other foreign languages: German, French, Spanish, Russian. 1.SJG regularly achieves excellent results in state part of school-leaving exams, it flexibly responds to current trends in education. It enables the best students to work on projects at universities and research institutes that are our partners (Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University, University of Hradec Králové, Technical University of Liberec, University of Pardubice, Palacký University in Olomouc). 1.SJG has been a member of the Czech network of UNESCO affiliated schools since September 2016, and has had the title “school cooperating with Mensa” since September 2019. We cooperate with schools in India, China, Turkey, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania and Germany.
