Prometheus, one of the Titans in Greek mythology, was the god of fire, a master craftsman considered the wisest of the race. The name Prometheus was derived from the Greek prefix pro (“before”) and the verb mantho (“to learn” or “to be increased in knowledge”) making Prometheus the “Forethinker,” the one who thinks ahead. He was credited with giving humans fire, architecture, master craftsmanship and knowledge. While naming our company after a God may seem like a case of hubris, the defining attitude of Prometheus, alongside his passion to improve, served as the inspiration. We believe that the construction industry is ripe for innovation but progress is often stifled by traditional thinking. Our team is poised and ready to take a rebelliously creative approach to an antiquated industry.
