Hi, I'm Marcia. I founded Progressus to connect, inspire, and enable special needs parents in heart-centred, powerful ways. I see and know them because I am them. In 2012, my baby daughter Emma was severely brain-damaged and bedridden due to medical error following successful open heart surgery. My family have faced loss, fear, isolation, anger, blame, and more. We've also learned to keep moving by connecting to resilience and hope. With a background in Industrial Engineering, education and research, I combine my systems focus, love for teaching and speaking, and desire to help others train up resilience and connect intuition (heart and soul) and logic (mind) in the work I do. Progressus supports working special needs parents to shift from surviving to thriving, by helping them to better fulfill their duties while carving out time and energy to reconnect to their dreams so they can take focused action to build fuller lives that bring them and their families more joy and fulfillment.
