Leadership By Design - Providing personalized, intentional leadership development. Leading a school successfully and sustaining one’s energy and commitment to do so requires a mindset, presence, and applicable skills that are intentional, reflect the highest level of holistic health, and meet the demands of the current challenges leaders face. School leaders must learn how to energize and empower others, communicate a vision, and manage conflict. New heads of school, particularly, need to learn quickly and coaching can provide the targeted, personalized, and focused development that is required. In my work in this capacity, I engage with leaders in customized ways that acknowledge and honor their individuality. This relational approach to coaching leads to transformative learning, self-knowledge, and growth in those coached. With over three decades of school and programs leadership and my own intentional learning about leadership, human relations, and my own thinking preferences and leadership style, I bring theoretical and practical knowledge to my work. I am thrilled to be directing my energy, passion, skills, and wisdom toward developing school leaders.
