Premier Plant Producers Ltd. is an independent family business established in 1949 by Joh Overvoorde after coming from Holland to settle in East Yorkshire. It is now run by his son, Peter, and his grandson, Will, who are the 5th and 6th generation of the Overvoorde family in horticulture. Using 18 acres of modern heated greenhouses in combination with a further 10 acres of outdoor hardening-off areas, Premier Plant Producers Ltd. specialises in young plant propagation including Cell-grown tree and hedging, salads and brassicas in a range of tray styles and sizes from pressed peat blocks to loose filled modules. Premier Plant Producers Ltd. provide a complete efficient growing service designed around the needs of customers. Using the latest techniques in plant production to ensure high quality and full traceability throughout, produce is delivered by our own transport fleet to the customer ready to plant.
